For generations, Girl Scouts have been making a difference in their communities and in their own lives.
Girl Scouts’ Highest Awards represent leadership journeys that help girls develop confidence, learn skills in organization, determination, and dedication, and take action to make a difference in the community. Through these fun and fulfilling experiences, girls are setting the groundwork for themselves for a lifetime of caring about others in their communities and around the world.
The awards are age-specific:
Girl Scouts' Highest Awards recognize that for girls to become leaders they need to become knowledgeable, involved, and proactive. They need to lead the way. Read about their experiences.
To receive these awards, girls must meet requirements that help them prepare for, and complete, a special project benefiting their communities. See each award for the specific requirements.
