Are you ready for the New Girl Scouts Journeys?
Starting in August, Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey will be offering a new course to volunteers to prepare them to effectively facilitate the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

The course design will explore Purposeful Leadership, tools to facilitate leadership, applying the Girl Scout Experience to resources (new and traditional), and how to facilitate activities so they are girl-led, learn-by- doing and cooperative learning experiences.

Sign up for one of these courses!

The new Girl Scout Leadership Experience will guide girls through their own Leadership Journey! GSUSA will create a new journey each year with sessions specified and tailored for each Girl Scout grade level.

The launch journey is called "It's Your World--Change It!"

The Daisy Flower Garden takes girls through a story in which they meet "flowers and critters" who guide them to explore global diversity, botany, Girl Scout history and values of the Law.

In the Brownie Quest, girls search for and find three keys. Along the way they uncover their special talents and qualities, lead their families in a healthy living activity, and participate in a Brownie Brainstorm.

Junior Girl Scouts become Agents of Change, exploring the power of one, the power of team, and the power of community. Girls create a comic book style story based on steps for taking action.

Cadettes Amaze as they navigate the twists and turns of relationships. They use quizzes and team games to explore friendships, dramas, first impressions, and coping with bullies.

Seniors explore the problems impacting girls in the world in Girltopia. They create an art project based on their vision of a better world and take turns guiding discussions and activities.

Your Voice, Your World allows Ambassadors to explore the rich global history of women's advocacy efforts. They engage in an eight-step process for identifying an issue and proposing a solution.
