||Dr. Heller joined the CCM faculty in 1988 to create a Local History Program in the Department of History. She received her B.A. degree Cum Laude from Bryn Mawr College, Master's Degree from Columbia University and Ph.D from Rutgers University. The pioneering and influential Bryn Mawr Summer School for Women Workers, 1921-1928 was the subject of Dr. Heller's Ph.D thesis, the research for which also found expression in a National Endowment for the Humanities documentary, The Women of Summer. ||Dr. Hetzler always found herself drawn to the intricacies of social interaction, but it wasn't until junior year in college that she found her calling in sociology. Social work and volunteering in domestic abuse shelters helped shape not only her academic interest, but also her perspective on society. Working on social issues on an individual level helped her to see the issues of poverty and abuse as more than words in a textbook. ||Lorena has worked for Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey since 2005. As a program development and delivery manager, Lorena designs and implements program activities for Girl Scouts of all ages, focusing on media literacy, healthy living and relationships, STEM activities, and travel experiences. Her all-day event, R.E.A.C.H. for Healthy Relationships, guides girls through developing their own relationship bill of rights. Her From Movies to Web event helps girls in grades 6-8 gain media literacy, looking at movie clips, magazines, and web content. Read more...|

||David M. Pallant is an Assistant Professor of Communication, joining the CCM faculty in 2010. Pallant earned his bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Massachusetts and his Master of Arts degree in communication arts from New York Institute of Technology. He currently teaches introductory courses in communication, public relations, mass media and speech, as well as courses in advertising and political communication, at County College of Morris. ||Dr. Jones is currently Chairperson for the Department of Communication at County College of Morris where he teaches courses in Mass Media and Communication. He earned his Ph.D from Temple University and has both undergraduate and graduate degrees from William Paterson University.
