When times are tough and you are running out of Ramen noodles, you might have to get creative if you want to survive higher education. This fun and informative evening will address challenges facing today’s college students. Hear from a panel of young women currently enrolled in a variety of majors and colleges. Learn how to design room storage solutions, implement studying strategies, and resolve roommate conflicts. Discuss college life and college choices. You’ll leave with a real understanding beyond what you see in the movies and Facebook. Girls and adults will have an opportunity to leave at 7 pm or stay till 8:30 pm and watch the documentary “The Hunting Ground” detailing campus safety and sexual assault. A sensitive issues permission slip is required for the documentary. Pizza and snacks are included! Link patch can be purchased at the council shops.
