Plein Air Watercolor in Historic Mount Tabor (code: 2093)
Discover Victorian architecture and native New Jersey plants and trees in a park setting. Study their details by sketching and painting "en plein air." On a visit to Trinity Park, the pedestrian-only center of Mount Tabor, girls will first explore the colorful cottages decorated in gingerbread trim along the park paths. Once they choose a comfortable spot to sketch and paint, they will be instructed by a trained artist, on using watercolor to capture the unique architectural elements and natural beauty of Mount Tabor, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. All supplies will be provided. Link patch and completed badges can be purchased at the council shops.
