Join this flexible hiking program where experienced hike leaders will teach you outdoor skills. Events include day hikes in the fall, winter, and spring, plus a weekend camping trip in April. Qualified girls in 7th grade and up can also attend two backpacking trips in May. Attend the hikes as your schedule allows. Girls can attend on their own, with a parent, or their troop. A one-time, non-refundable fee of $20 per person will be collected for the entire year. Full hike details will be emailed to all participants prior to each hike. Girls are highly encouraged to attend a free orientation meeting in September to learn more about this program. Interested troops who are unable to attend the orientation may contact Elena Morgan at emorgan@gsnnj.org to arrange for a hike leader to share the information with their group.
