Community Engagement

What We Do

Since 1912, the mission of Girl Scouts has been to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouting has a strong, positive impact on girls, helping them develop into citizens who are responsible, caring, and engaged.

At Girl Scouts, they explore their strengths, take on new challenges, and can always be themselves, regardless of background or ability.

Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is committed to ensuring that every girl receives the same opportunity to participate in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. We invite you to join us in our work.

Our staff and program facilitators help organize, launch, and support Girl Scout troops in under-resourced communities.
