Since 1912, the mission of Girl Scouts has been to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouting has a strong, positive impact on girls, helping them develop into citizens who are responsible, caring, and engaged.

Become a Program Facilitator

Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is hiring part-time Program Facilitators to help our staff conduct Girl Scout activity sessions in Bergen, Passaic, and Morris County areas.

Competitive pay: $30 per session for Program Facilitators
Most sessions are held on weekdays for 40 minutes to one hour during or after school.
Bilingual or multilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
Applicants will need to undergo a background check.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available for Girl Scout membership fees, uniform supplies, program activities, and summer camp.

Financial Assistance Requests for Memberships are accepted year-round and can be applied for at the time of registration (during registration checkout, you will have the option to request financial assistance using the drop down menu). Financial Assistance Form for Summer Camp

Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is committed to making sure more girls benefit from the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and offers household income-based sliding scale financial assistance for summer day camp. Financial Assistance may be granted for all camp programs, except for equestrian programs. A committee of staff and volunteers will review requests and determine awards on a rolling basis starting February 1 and continuing through May 15. Funds are limited, so apply early.

Financial assistance is made possible in part by the generous support of our donors.

How to apply for Financial Assistance:

First enroll your camper(s) and pay your deposit(s), then simply fill out the Financial Assistance Form for Summer Camp requesting a Campership and submit it for review. A $100.00 deposit per camp session is required but can be refunded if sufficient financial assistance is not available.
