Renewal season is here, and there are more reasons than ever to get excited about continuing your Girl Scout adventure with Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey! This year, we are celebrating renewal with fun and rewarding incentives for girls, families, and volunteers who renew during the renewal window. From savings on membership renewal to chances to enjoy exciting Dream Lab experiences, special events, exclusive Girl Scout merchandise, and other fun surprises, there are so many ways to be rewarded for renewing early. Don’t miss your chance to keep the journey going while unlocking great perks and memorable experiences along the way!
Design the GSNNJ Council patch!
Beginning March 19, we are launching a council-wide design competition
for girl members to submit their own artwork for the official GSNNJ
council patch. The top five entries will be invited to a special
lunch at the DreamLab with our President and CEO, Sandra Kenoff.
We are awarding $50 gift cards to two finalists, $100 gift cards to two
runners-up and $150 to the winner. The winning design will be displayed
in both our Service Centers (Dream Lab and Riverdale) and be available
for the Dream Lab opening.
Starting at 12:01 am on April 1, we are offering a $15 discount to the first 5,000 girls who renew their membership . Enter code EARLY27 to renew. Available until April 10 or until all 5,000 have been claimed!
Renew 100% of your troop (all returning girls and two leaders) and we will host your troop at the DreamLab for a celebratory party. What better way to kickstart your new Girl Scout year! Smaller troops may be combined to maximize the fun!
Host your own Service Unit pep-rally during April and May and we will provide you with $100 to help fund the event! Your Service Unit must sign up using our JotForm, and share an update and pictures during/after the event. We may even make a surprise visit!
On June 20,
we will join forces with the Kinder Joy of Moving event to welcome
100 girls and a caregiver to this fantastic event free of charge!
Our 20 winners will be chosen from the first 5000 renewed girls who
used the EARLY27
discount code. If you are unable to attend, we will draw another name.
Financial Assistance
At Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey, we are invested in every girl.
We believe that every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout can be a Girl
Scout, regardless of financial situation. To help welcome in every
girl and adult member, we offer financial assistance to those in
need.
GSNNJ welcomes every girl and volunteer, regardless of their income. We make funds available to cover the following:
- Membership fee
- Programs
- Uniform supplies
- Summer Camp fees
Eligibility: Each financial aid application is reviewed by Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. The amount of funds granted will vary based on need and available funds. Our funds are limited, and resources are used wisely to assist the greatest number of eligible members.
Financial Assistance Requests for memberships are accepted year-round and can be applied for at the time of registration.
Donate $40 | Give the Gift of Girl Scouting
At the time of your membership renewal, make a donation of $40 or more (the cost of a membership for a Girl Scout), and give the gift of Girl Scouting to a girl who might otherwise not be able to participate in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
