Girl Scouts ages 11-16 can learn to safely and confidently care for children and infants as trained babysitters upon completion of this American Red Cross Babysitter's Training in-person course. Participate in hands-on activities, view informational videos, and join group discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course explores feeding, diapering, picking up,and holding children safely. Additonally, you'll learn basic first aid training and emergency response protocols during this program. You'll receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training Certificate upon completion along with a fun patch. Bring a bagged lunch and snacks will be provided. This course is being offered at Lake Rickabear Camp, Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the New Jersey Teacher's Convention break when public schools are closed. This is a Drop-Off event.
