We held our 14th Annual Meeting virtually via Zoom on May 19, 2021. At the meeting, new GSNNJ Board members and Girl Representatives were sworn into office, and proposed changes to the Bylaws were explained and voted upon. A panel of Board members, including Girl Representatives to the Board, discussed the question, "How will the Girl Scout Movement be even stronger after the COVID-19 pandemic?"
We love our volunteers, and it was important to us to thank them for their hard work and dedication in a safe and socially distant way once again during the pandemic. Our 7,500 volunteers found creative ways to engage with our members to continue the Girl Scout Leadership Experience when our girls needed it most. We recognized their outstanding efforts with an Adult Recognition Drive-Through Parade and celebrated them for being cheerleaders, guides, and mentors to our Girl Scouts, helping them develop essential life skills and confidence that will last a lifetime.
