At Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon, New Jersey, our 332 acres include a beautiful 40-acre, spring-fed lake, perfect for pedal boating, paddle boarding, and row boating. A long stretch of soft, sandy beach lines our swimming area. Our camp also has an archery range, low ropes challenge course, zip line, pickleball courts, basketball, a junior scooter track, gaga pit, beach volleyball, and more.
Lake Rickabear's camping facilities include all-season lodges, yurts, platform tents, and pitch-your-own-tent campsites. A spacious pavilion, campfire amphitheater, and lakeside picnic grove provide lots of opportunity for outdoor fun.
Check-in at 3:00 p.m. & check-out at 12:00 p.m. for all lodging.

We offer a variety of outdoor spaces for activities, eating, and ceremonies. We recommend reserving to ensure that it will not be used by other troops.
All activities are pending a facilitator being secured for the requested date/time.
Low Ropes Challenge Course $18 per person Minimum: 8 |
Available weekends mid-April-June and September-mid-November. For Girl Scout Brownies-Ambassadors. Must be in 4th grade or older to participate in zip line. Girl Scout Daisies can register and participate in elements of the Low Ropes Challenge Course that are appropriate for their age/size/level (at the discretion of the facilitator). Two-hour sessions offered 3x/day: 9:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. |

This option allows you to spend time on the camp property and take advantage of a variety of outdoor fun at your leisure. This includes (but not limited to) having a picnic, working on a craft or badge, hiking, gaga pit, beach volleyball, scooters, and basketball. |
