Lake Rickabear Parade
April, May & June for All Girl Scouts
Program Flyer  |  Register Now!  |  Parade Fact Sheet

Participate as a service unit or individual troops to compete at Lake Rickabear’s own version of the Tournament of Roses Parade. Using guidelines set by GSNNJ, each service unit will choose from one of multiple categories for a parade through camp. Service units and troops will participate in a tournament style competition for the “Rickabear Cup” and ultimate bragging rights. The winners of each session’s categories will be featured on GSNNJ’s website, where the final “Best in Show” will be selected by online voting. Spectators are invited to attend for a low price and may participate in camp tours and other program activities. Each service unit that brings 40 registered girls will receive an exclusive service unit banner to use for Girl Scout events. Each parade participant will receive a placement ribbon. Participants must be registered Girl Scout girl and adults; family and friends are welcome to attend the event as spectators. After the parade, stay for a beach party with a DJ and carnival-style food truck.
