Board Member Role and Responsibilities
Bring your energy, passion, and Girl Scout experience to our Board of Directors as a Girl Scout Representative for the 2026-2027 Girl Scout year . Get involved, represent your peers, and advocate for girl leadership. Girl Scouts currently in Grade 11 are eligible to apply for this incredible leadership opportunity and to serve (review Roles and Responsibilities above).
In accordance with our council Bylaws, Girl Scout Representatives are elected to serve as representatives without the right to vote or make motions at Board meetings, but their participation is greatly respected, valued, and appreciated. They are recommended by the Board Development Committee and serve a one-year term starting at the GSNNJ Annual Meeting on May 13, 2026.
