Girl Scout Brownies-Ambassadors: Get ready to Discover, Create, and Be Inspired during our Grounds for Sculpture Tour & Art Workshop! Join us for an unforgettable art adventure at the stunning Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, N.J. (April 25). Explore 42 acres of breathtaking sculptures and indoor art exhibits featuring nearly 300 works by established and emerging artists.
* Girl Scout Brownies & Juniors can take part in a hands-on creative workshop where you'll design and craft your own unique creature inspired by the sculptures around you!
* Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors can participate in a hands-on Emo-Watercolors Workshop, where you'll create a visual expression of emotion using watercolor, music, and sound. You'll learn about abstraction and non-objective art and bring those ideas to life through your own artwork inspired by the sculpture park.
10AM: Arrival
10:15AM - 11:45 AM: Workshop 1 (Create A Creature) - this includes a tour
11:45AM-12:15PM: Lunch
12:15-2PM: Workshop 2 (Emo Watercolor) - this includes a tour
All participants may bring a bagged lunch or purchase a meal at the on-site Van Gogh Café. Program fee includes the guided tour, and workshops. Financial assistance is available upon request.
