This is our 1 night backpacking trip on the AT for qualified backpackers! New backpackers Girls and Adults - be sure to go over the Gear & Food List carefully including notes you were given during the weigh in and pack check. Wherever possible, switch out heavier gear for lighter pieces. NJ AT, from Unionville Road, Wantage NJ SOUTHBOUND to Rt 23, High Point Rangers Station, Wantage, NJ. We will hike 6.5 miles Saturday and 1.7 miles Sunday plus possible side trail to HP Monument. Sleeping at High Point Shelter. Sunday pickup 12:00 PM time is approx. - all girls and parents who are backpacking will need to be picked up at the end point Rt 23 S near High Point Rangers Station, but not at the Ranger Station - go to AT Parking, Route 23 South Wantage.
PLEASE NOTE: All participants must be registered for the Trailblazers 2025-2026 year, and have submitted their permission slips prior to registering for this hike.
