Program Registration Procedures

Online Program Registration


Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is now accepting online registration for most program activities. For all program activities designated as Online Registration, registration will ONLY be accepted online. Registration is first come, first served.


To register for programs online, go to Things to Do, Girl Program Activties & The LINK. Click on Register for Online Programs Now. This button will take you to our online registration Web site. Click on Activities in the navigation bar at the top. Search for your desired program activty.


To register, you must have an ID and password through our online membership database (the same ID and password you use for Online Membership Registration.) If you have never registered for Girl Scout membership online, you can create an ID and password and then complete the online program registration. All online program registrations MUST be paid for with a credit or debit card.


Mail-In Program Registration


For select mail-in registration program activities, a registration form must be completed for each program or event and mailed WITH payment (check or credit card number) to: GSNNJ, 300 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652. Registration forms are available in the back of the LINK, online at, or at any service center. No telephone, faxed, emailed or hand-delivered registrations will be accepted. All registrations for our programs must be made through GSNNJ.



Opening Registration Dates


For online registration, program activities will not be available for registering until midnight on the opening date.  Please note, the GSNNJ website is not updated at midnight, but the online registration website updates automatically at midnight. Proceed to the online registration website to register even if you see "Reg. Opens at Midnight on the Opening Date" on your desired program. 


For mail-in registration, envelopes must be POSTMARKED on or after the opening registration date. Submissions received prior to opening date will be returned. Submit a separate form and payment for each program. Do not combine fees for several programs.


Your mail-in registration must include: 􀀹

» Completed registration form with correct adult:girl ratios (see Volunteer Essentials.)

» Check made payable to GSNNJ or credit card information with signature. 􀀹

» Completed troop roster.



Confirmation and Registrations


For online registration, confirmation will be emailed upon completion of the payment process. If registration cannot be accommodated due to limited space, payment will be not be processed.


For mail-in registration, two confirmation will be emailed/mailed to contact person as indicated on registration form.  The first will be an acknowledgement of receipt of your registration form. You will receive that confirmation within two weeks of GSNNJ's receipt of your registration form. The second confirmation will be the status of your registration and the program. This confirmation will not be sent until minimums are met. Until this confirmation is received, the troop is not guaranteed space at the program.


If the registration cannot be accommodated, notification will be made and all fees will be refunded. Confirmations will not be sent until program has met minimum.





Programs may be cancelled due to insufficient registration or inclement weather. Full refunds will be given only if GSNNJ cancels the program.





If a troop/group or girl is unable to attend an event or program, a written request for a refund of the fee must be received at the Paramus Service Center at least 21 days prior to the event or program deadline, whichever comes first. Refunds will be given minus 15% of the original per girl or adult fee to cover administrative costs. 􀀹


» In certain circumstances, such as a medical emergency, a refund will be considered with a doctor’s written statement within 15 business days after the event. 􀀹


» Programs/events conducted by other institutions have their own cancellation policies that GSNNJ cannot override. Refunds will be issued according to that institution’s policies. 􀀹


» All deposits are non-refundable.




Program opportunities are provided for registered Girl Scouts and their leaders. Additional adults are not permitted to register as they reduce the number of girl participants. Tagalongs (siblings and other non-registered girls) are not permitted at program. Non-registered girls are welcome to register for Girl Scout membership in advance and then submit a program registration form.
