Why Girl Scout Camp? At Girl Scout camp, girls have fun acquiring new skills in a safe and supportive all-girl environment. From a relaxed swim to teaming up on a project, our camps offer girls a variety of opportunities to learn, grow, and build courage, confidence, and character.

At Jockey Hollow and Lake Rickabear Summer Day Camps, girls engage in boating, cooking, fishing, building survival huts, riding horses, zip lining, archery, woodworking, creating things, making new friends, and so much more!

Girls do not need to be Girl Scouts to attend our camps. All girls are welcome here, where they will make new friends, try new things, and learn leadership skills that will last a lifetime. Financial assistance is available. For girls not currently registered as a Girl Scout, an additional one-time $40 fee will be charged. Contact us for assistance in registering.

Each summer, we hire counselors, administrative staff, lifeguards, activity specialists, kitchen staff, communications specialists, and seasonal maintenance support. Our summer camps offer a fast paced, high energy environment that is the perfect fit for anyone who wants to challenge themselves and take on a mentorship role, while working with children.

Visit our camps year-round! Join us for our Family Fun Days & Camping on Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends or consider renting our facilities for your next troop or service unit encampment, school, or community group event. Spend a day or an entire weekend at our camps having outdoor adventures, exploring trails, trying your hand at archery, boating, enjoying sports, and making memories. See our Camp Rental web page for details.
