What Parents Need to Know

Essential Information for Parents

Parent Guides

Our Parent Guides contain information that will help you prepare for camp, including what to bring, what to wear, daily camp life activities, overnights, trips, and deadlines for forms. Be sure to read through the guide for the camp your daughter will be attending.

Our 2022 Parent Guides will be available soon. Copies of last year's can be reviewed here:

Health History Form

Every camper needs to submit a Health History Form prior to attending camp. Download a copy and fill one out for your camper. A physician's signature is not required.

Submit the completed form via scan/email to healthforms@gsnnj.org, fax to (973) 927-7683, or by mail to Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey, attn: Summer Camp, 1579 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph, NJ 07869.

If scanning/emailing, use a PDF format. Photos will not be accepted. Use a smartphone scan app in lieu of taking a photo of the Health History Form, and retain a copy for your records.

Wait List

Some camp sessions are very popular and fill up fast. If a particular camp session is full, the option to place your camper on the wait list will appear. We will contact you if a space opens up prior to the camp date.

Community Resources

Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey has compiled a listing of Community Resources (national and statewide) for our Volunteers and Families to reference as needed, including hotlines, government agencies, and services for employment, health, housing, food assistance and children/families.
