Discover how small actions can make a big difference at the DreamLab Take Action Expo! Meet local nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and service partners while exploring meaningful ways to make an impact in your community. Girls and Girl Scout troops will discover project ideas, build connections with potential community partners, and find inspiration for earning Girl Scouting's highest awards and leadership awards, including the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. Learn about volunteer opportunities, sign up to support local organizations, participate in hands-on service projects, and leave with the ideas, resources, and community connections to turn your passion into action.

Come join us, along with representatives from our local League of Women Voters, to set up a Democracy plan for your troop! Build a "Troop Government" by creating a simple system that lasts for more than one meeting. Create your "Troop Constitution" which will set up the rules that everyone will have an opportunity to sign. Work on earning your Democracy Badge while learning the troop rules and assigning roles for each member of your "government." Propose ideas, debate, and vote! Gather your troop and come to the Girl Scout DreamLab in Paramus to get your Troop Democracy started. This is also a Program on the Go session, which means it can be held in your troop meeting space. Democracy Badges and snacks are included. Financial assistance is available upon request. This program is intended for troops with their leaders. Individual Girl Scouts may attend with their guardian; this is not a drop-off event.
