Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is looking for adult volunteers to become Trip Facilitators to chaperone an unforgettable Broadway adventure in New York City from July 11–18, 2026. Join a group of 22 amazing Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors (ages 14–18) as they experience the magic of NYC, including broadway shows, iconic restaurants, and city sights and landmarks.
Your role? Be a supportive, enthusiastic presence and help keep the experience safe, fun, and empowering.

This is not a paid position. Chaperones must attend one training day in our Riverdale Service Center (95 Newark Pompton Tpke, Riverdale, NJ) and attend one Zoom training session before the program session begins. Trip Facilitators will work directly with and take direction from the Girl Experience Program Department staff of our council.
Sample Itinerary:
10:00 a.m.: Depart from Lake Rickabear Camp
11:00 a.m.: Explore Times Square
12:00-2:00 p.m.: Empire State Building Tour
2:00-2:30 p.m.: Visit Girl Scouts NYC Headquarters
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Lunch at Bryant Park
4:00-5:30 p.m.: Visit the Museum of Broadway
6:00-7:00 p.m.: Dinner at Gayle's Broadway Rose
7:00-9:30 p.m.: Hadestown on Broadway
9:30-10:00 p.m.: Stagedoor to get autographs from Broadway stars
10:00 p.m.: Bus pick up from NYC
10:45 p.m.: Return to Lake Rickabear Camp
